Online Survey on Software Acquisition Issues

In order to develop my web prototype solution, I performed background research including literature sources and online survey.

The survey was accessible on this link. However, data gathering processs in already finished.

Organization

The collected data was strictly confidential and anonymous. It was used only for this research purpose and destroyed afterwards.

Definitions

The software acquisition process is generally performed in a systematic and well organized way. This is important for corporations holding a strong grip on their IT assets. Software costs, functionality, future maintenance, deployment time are amongst key characteristics influencing purchase decisions. Software should be also aligned to business needs and corporate goals.
